Dates and implementation

Executive order deadlines calendar

Reports, required agency steps and charter endpoints due on or after October 20, 2026, with sources and the legal meaning of each date.

This calendar follows dated directions in currently operative orders. A deadline establishes when an action is due; it does not establish that the action occurred. Statutory horizons and agency-rule dates appear separately because they can have a different legal source and scope.

Fixed order dates

Five quantum-policy directions fall due on October 20. Later dates include report submissions, instructions to propose or consider action, procurement dates and express charter endpoints. Those verbs are kept distinct.

Take responsive innovation steps following the fintech barrier review.
Existing statutory authority and the review’s safety, consumer-protection and market-integrity qualifications remain. 3(b)

Initiating reform does not establish that each lottery has already been changed. 2(c)

Evaluation does not automatically renew any individual permit. 5(c)

The annual report must address actual platform status, integration and outcomes; its due date proves none of them. 6(a)

Registration or release of a particular product still requires the applicable safety findings and law. 3(b)(i)–(ii)

Review is separate from adoption of mandatory labeling. 4

The permitted briefing excludes protected ongoing-investigation and nonpublic industry information; it is not proof that allegations were substantiated. 2(b)

The express appropriate-and-lawful qualification limits the action. 6(b)

Recurring reports and continuation duties

An annual or recurring requirement is a clock, not evidence that its next report has been filed. The next date is shown only when its anchor is established.

2027-09-30 — EO 14417

Report to the President at each fiscal-year end and before actual termination. Military Spouse Commission.

The next fiscal-year-end report is September 30, 2027 if the present term remains. The 2028 fiscal year ends after the current August 3, 2028 charter endpoint. 3(e)

Every six calendar months from July 20, 2026, until January 1, 2028. — EO 14415

Report implementation, waivers, mitigation plans and regulations to APNSA. War Secretary.

The explicit order-date anchor yields January 20 and July 20, 2027; January 20, 2028 is after the stated reporting endpoint. 5(a)

After the first report due June 22, 2027. — EO 14413

Repeat the commercial-quantum national-security implications report. DNI and War Secretary with the specified partners.

The first-year due date is in the fixed calendar. Annual submission is not proof of a public report or achieved quantum capability. 10(c)

First report due December 19, 2026; annually thereafter until PQC migration is complete. — EO 14412

Repeat national-security-system PQC migration status reports. NSA Director through CNSS.

This is a reporting schedule, not an inferred completion deadline for classified-system migration. 5(c)

First report due November 24, 2026. — EO 14363

Repeat Genesis Mission evaluation reports through APST and OMB. Energy Secretary.

No report submission, platform operation or scientific outcome follows merely from reaching an anniversary. 6(a)

First report due within ninety days of April 30, 2026; recurring cycle must be checked in implementation guidance. — EO 14402

Report non-fixed-price contract counts, value and written justifications to OMB. Agency heads.

The signed text sets the first outer deadline but does not justify assuming every later report is due six months after that deadline rather than an established reporting cycle. 2(d)

After establishment of the task force. — EO 14383

Convene to review arms-transfer strategy implementation. Promoting American Military Sales Task Force.

The text does not fix particular quarter-end dates; meeting occurrence and substantive progress must be independently documented. 5(a)(iv)

Publication was to begin within 120 days of February 6, 2026. — EO 14383

Publish aggregate performance metrics on FMS case development/execution and export-license adjudication. State, War and Commerce secretaries.

The first outer deadline is past. The order does not establish a specific later quarter-closing day or prove the metrics were published. 5(b)

The amended Civil Service Rule, with the agency’s actual publication cycle. — EO 14410

Publish a list of positions excepted from the competitive service in the specified schedules. OPM.

No fixed annual month/day is specified by this clause, so no invented anniversary is placed in the fixed calendar. 2(c)(i)(A), amending Civil Service Rule VI / 5 CFR 6.2

July 1 of each year, using the percentage increase, if any, during the preceding twelve months. — EO 14400

Adjust the $20 million athletics-revenue threshold using the specified CPI-U formula. Officials applying the order’s definition of higher education institution.

This is a recurring definitional adjustment, not a school reporting or payment deadline and not a finding of any particular future threshold amount. 2(c)

Clocks triggered by an actual event

The triggering event must occur before a relative period can be calculated. An outer deadline for the triggering document is not its actual publication or receipt date.

Actual publication of the updated National Quantum Strategy. — EO 14413

Submit summaries aligning programs with the updated National Quantum Strategy. Relevant agency heads.

The strategy’s December 19 outer deadline is not its actual publication date. Do not mechanically add thirty days to that outer deadline. 3(b)

Actual receipt of the Energy Secretary’s procurement recommendations. — EO 14421

Consider proposing FAR amendments implementing Energy’s recommendations. FAR Council.

Consideration is the directed action; neither a date of receipt nor a completed proposed/final rule is assumed. 4(b)

Actual completion of the supply-chain mapping policy. — EO 14415

Promulgate the mapping policy’s implementing regulations. War Secretary.

January 16, 2027 is the policy’s outer deadline, not a proven completion date from which to invent an April rule deadline. 3(a)

Completion of vetting under the implementing supply-chain requirements. — EO 14415

Notify significant risks, submit corrective plans and report closeout. Contractors under the directed proposed regulatory scheme.

These are required contents of the proposed implementing scheme, not proof every contractor already has a currently binding identical deadline or completed vetting. 3(c)(iii)–(v)

A complete covered application, after a determination that current law permits the access. — EO 14405

Decide complete payment-account/service-access applications under requested transparent procedures. Federal Reserve Board.

The Board is requested to act, and legal availability is a condition. No particular applicant’s date or entitlement is supplied. 4(c)

Each service member’s discharge or release after the initial thirty-day implementation assignment. — EO 14426

Share personnel and treatment records immediately upon separation. War Department and service components.

The October 8, 2026 initial deadline has passed. This continuing event-triggered duty is not a new fixed deadline for every service member. 2(a)(iii)

The first required regulatory step for the relevant application under applicable final rules. — EO 14300

Apply the contemplated final-decision limits for new-reactor and continuing-operation applications. NRC under the directed revised regulations.

These are directions for regulatory revision, not automatic license approvals or a basis for computing an unnamed applicant’s decision day. 5(a)

Submission of a substantially complete qualified test-reactor application. — EO 14301

Support qualified test-reactor operation under the application process. Energy Secretary.

Individual application and completeness dates are not established by the general order; eligibility and the statutory sufficient-control framework remain important. 4(b)–(c)

Date of the relevant qualifying application. — EO 14302

Prioritize contracting for fuel-fabrication facilities demonstrating supply feasibility within the stated horizon. Energy Secretary and fuel-fabrication applicants.

This is a contracting-priority feasibility criterion, not a loan decision deadline, universal order expiration or verified plant opening date. 3(d)

Actual APNSA/OMB concurrence in the long-term master facilities plan. — EO 14269

Submit the USMMA five-year capital improvement plan. Transportation Secretary.

The plan’s five-year horizon is distinct from the submission clock; the concurrence date is not inferred from the original order or a facilities announcement. 14(a)(iii)

Policy aims and outcome horizons

An instruction to aim for an outcome has a different meaning from a report submission deadline. Year-only goals remain year-only; no last day is invented.

2028 — EO 14433

Reduce the specified invasive mosquito populations by ninety percent and ticks by fifty percent. Interior, Agriculture, EPA and GSA.

The sixty-day campaign action is separately calendared. The year-only outcome target does not supply a particular day or proof of reduction. 3(a)

2027-09-17 — EO 14430

Deploy the unified one-stop special-use-permit portal. Relevant agencies.

The provision uses with the aim of deploying within one year, subject to feasibility and applicable law; treat it as an express aim, not an unconditional final portal deadline. 5(d)

2028-09-30 — EO 14413

Field the prioritized next-generation quantum sensors. War Secretary.

The sixty-day project-identification requirement was earlier. The fielding objective is not proof the sensors have been delivered or operationally validated. 5(a)

2030-12-31 — EO 14412

Include a December 31, 2030 FIPS/PQC compliance date in the directed proposed rule. FAR Council / prospective covered contractors.

This date is proposed-rule content required by the EO. Do not describe every private contractor as already subject to a final adopted obligation from the EO alone. 6(c)

2027-11-23 — EO 14299

Operate an advanced reactor at the first designated DOE AI-infrastructure site. Energy Secretary.

The text expressly describes a goal no later than thirty calendar months after May 23, 2025. It is separate from the mandatory military-base operating direction. 4(b)

2028-01-01 — EO 14296

Restore capacity to house up to six thousand homeless veterans at the National Center for Warrior Independence. Veterans Affairs Secretary.

The action plan was separately due within 120 days. This capacity objective does not establish completed construction or an individual entitlement to a place. 2(e)

2030 — EO 14302

Facilitate five gigawatts of uprates and ten new large reactors under construction. Energy Secretary and private nuclear industry.

The year-only policy outcome is not a report deadline or evidence that projects have obtained licenses and financing. 4(a)

2028 / 2030 — EO 14369

Achieve the stated Moon, lunar-outpost, investment and commercial-space milestones. Relevant space agencies and national-security officials.

These are separately specified policy objectives, not a single legally guaranteed completion date. Read each objective with its assigned officials and full section conditions. 2(a)–(d)

Reading the calendar

Calendar-day periods are calculated from the stated anchor, without an assumed weekend or holiday extension. Month and year periods use calendar anniversaries. Signing, publication and legal effectiveness can be different dates. An upcoming final-rule date is not proof that the rule has already taken effect.

The calendar covers dated requirements in the collection’s 2026 orders, longer clocks in active 2025 orders and selected older statutory or recurring horizons. It is a researched collection, not an exhaustive list of every government report or deadline. Follow the linked order and primary provision for amendments, judicial limits, appropriations and transaction-specific exceptions.

For EO 14306, the inserted three-year OMB guidance clause refers to “this order” within EO 14144. Reading that integrated parent points to January 16, 2028; the amendment does not expressly reset the anchor to June 6. This interpretive date is kept outside the fixed-date table. Amendment section 2(f).

Emergency continuations and DPA termination exceptions explain important statutory clocks. The Graham Act’s original five-year horizon does not establish that every delegation or waived measure in EO 14436 automatically ends on that date.
