What does Executive Order 13188 do?

EO 13188 made a narrow amendment to EO 13111 by extending its outside advisory committee on training technology for two more years. EO 13218 later adjusted the committee’s role to coordinate with a new workforce initiative. EO 13316 revoked the committee provisions in September 2003 because the body had terminated or completed its work.

Later evidence reviewed September 23, 2026: EO 13316 revoked the committee provisions. GovInfo — EO 13316. This later record documents the stated step; it does not by itself establish every downstream agency action or legal outcome.
